A few months ago I got the toshiba flashair wifi sd card. I wanted to be able to upload photos on the go and I thought this would be a great solution. I got it and it worked but not really the way I wanted it to so I was a bit disappointed. It turns out I was doing a few things wrong. First I was using google chrome on my iphone and going to the flashair website which you can do but it is way slower than using the toshiba app. I had no idea this app even existed.
The second thing I was having a problem with was the fact that the card would stop working randomly all the time and I couldn't transfer files so I just started using it as a normal sd card. After a bit of googling today I found out that if you put the camera into live view mode the camera won't shut down or go into any sort of sleep mode allowing you transfer files. This does eat up the battery but it is way better than not being able to use the card at all. After knowing how to use the card more effectively I am pretty happy with the purchase.
